Happy Valentines day sweet friends.
It's been awhile since I have posted anything crafty. I have really missed creating for Artful Thursdays. I keep thinking I should have continued on with it, but after the holidays things became so busy. And to be honest- my art room is a total disaster! I am actually quite embarrassed that I let it get so out-of-control. My word for the New Year should be Get Organized!!! I am loving the Art Of Texture class that I am taking with Kim. It's easy to stay organized when all you need are a computer, camera and a few amazing textures! Well so far. I think we will be getting our hands dirty soon- creating our own textures. About this time last year I created this Valentine box for Julie's Artful Thursday! They are super easy to create. It was one of my favorite projects. I left a link for the instructions at the bottom of the page.

How lovely. You are not alone in having a mess of your creative space. The only thing I have organized is what I'm getting ready to take on an art retreat and half of that I couldn't find in my house but had to go buy new stuff, when I know it is here some place.

So LOVEly! I am in the same boat, my space is called a FROG(Furnished Room Over Garage). I now feel it is more like a warty Toad!
I also need to get organized! This class sounds wonderful. Love the images you shared, such a beautiful gift!

My studio is a mess too! I hope to take her texture class, but I have to finish the other two classes I still have not completed first. I can't wait to see your new textures.
