Winters first snowfall. Do you have a sweet memory from your childhood days? As a young girl I would watch anxiously as the first few flakes would drift down to lay the beginnings of a winter's blanket. I can remember looking out the window late at night with nobody around, watching the quiet flakes dance in the street lights, the beauty filling my heart with a feeling of peace. Each flake so beautifully different. Each so very small alone, but magnificent together. Each frosted drop of heaven did it's part to dress the earth in a white crystalline gown.
It is the small things in life that add up to greatness. A smile. A word of complement. A warm greeting. Time given out of the business of life... a charitable donation for those in need. Tiny individual flakes of kindness that GROW into a beautiful blanket of love and happiness. Small acts of kindness that become something extraordinary!
The total from the winning bids of each Christmas kitty came to $510.00. But with a few added "flakes" of charitable kindness we were able to donate $1000.00 to the Haiti Gospel Mission. Thank you to each tiny wonderful snowflake that helped Grow our cause into a BIG beautiful blanket of love.
My heart is filled with gratitude.
Merry CHRISTmas!

No matter how much winter
we have had, a fresh coat
of snow still makes my heart
sing! So happy that you have
had this experience this year;
so happy, too, that generous
snowflakes made your auction
such a success. Big Christmas
hugs floating your way....
xx Suzanne
